VIVA Hair Designs - Community Interest Companies

Community Interest Companies (CICS) are limited companies, with special additional features, created for the use of people who want to conduct a business or other activity for community benefit, and not purely for private advantage. This is achieved by a "community interest test" and "asset lock", which ensure that the CIC is established for community purposes and the assets and profits are dedicated to these purposes. Registration of a company as a CIC has to be approved by the Regulator who also has a continuing monitoring and enforcement role

 
 

We made the decision to become a Community Interest Company as we wanted to be more than just another business and hair designer in Manchester.  We want to assist people in our local community and allow them to gain skills and qualifications to assist them into work and onto a successful career.

We feel that as a Community Interest Company we provide more than just a new hair design, we provide the opportunity for new beginnings for members of our community.  We also feel that as a customer you contribute to this ethos and are also helping those in your local areas.
